My terrible chicken pox experience. As an adult, chicken pox is the worst, follow my blog with pictures and a day to day look of my chicken pox healing progress. This blog is intended to help everyone else with their own chicken pox horrors.
This blog is old as heck, but if you still read it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you're doing well, and your recovery was swift.
Chicken pox sucks...Just sucks..
Yeah, let's see an updated pic! I'm hoping you don't still bear any scars, because it sounds like you did everything you're supposed to.
ReplyDeleteJust been reading your blog, I'm 36 and have recently come down with this wonderful virus. I caught it of my son who apart from the spots was absolutely fine with it. The first day my fever was so bad I actually passed out and smacked my head on the side of the bath. Night time has been a struggle as although I think the fever has broken I have a terrible saw throat, which makes eating and drinking a problem. My scalp is covered in large spots which at the moment don't itch-but from reading your blog, I've got that joy to come. I'm counting down to day 8 when it seems you started to feel back to normal. I'm not worried about the aesthetics of it all. I just want to feel right again. Funny thou, my daughter got it at exactly the same time as me and while I write this in bed feeling like death. She's running around as normal to the point where you wouldn't know she has it.
ReplyDeleteThanks from the bottom of my heart for your blog. I contracted the virus ten days ago and your journals helped me through the first few days, i.e. the worst darkest moments. Gave me hope and encouragement. Sites like this represent the true power and purpose of the internet--people sharing helpful information. Thanks for taking the time throughout your illness to make a blog, it is deeply appreciated and hopefully will continue to help those unfortunate enough to contract this hellish virus.
